Head Instructor Brian Kitchin, who has been involved with the LHYC program as both a student and an assistant instructor for many years, will be returning to our program this year as our lead instructor.  Brian has an excellent sailing resume as both a participant in Lasers and Thistles, and as an instructor.  Qualifications include American Red Cross First Aid & CPR, US Sailing Level One Instructor, Boat Safety Course, and Senior Life Saving.

Assistant Instructor Doug Kitchin has also been involved with the LHYC program throughout his life.  A Junior at James Madison University, Doug has a long resume of sailing excellence and working with children, most recently as LHYC Swimming Instructor.
