2008 A-Class Catamaran Fall Regatta Waiver

WAIVER (must be signed):

In consideration of the acceptance of my application in the 2008 Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club A Class Catamaran Fall Regatta, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damage, loss of life, personal injury or participation in the 2008 Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club A Class Catamaran Fall Regatta. This release is intended to discharge the regatta race committee, the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club and it respective officers and directors and Members, from and against any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in the 2008 Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club A Class Catamaran Fall Regatta. I hereby warrant that my yacht will be outfitted, equipped and handled in accordance with the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions, that she will have all required equipment aboard, and will be seaworthy in hull, rig and gear, and that she will be competently manned. I further understand that serious accidents can occur during yacht racing and that participants in yacht racing may sustain fatal or serious personal injuries and/or property damage as a consequence thereof. I knowingly assume the risks of yacht racing and release and hold harmless all of the persons or entities mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to me or my heirs or assigns for damage. I agree to abide by the rules, regulations and sailing instructions or the 2008 Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club A Class Catamaran Fall Regatta.
